Tissue Testing 2.0: Get the Scoop on Overcoming Old School Issues

[May 2023 Edition]

The three standout features of ReleGO™& REVex

REVIVO BioSystems’ platform, ReleGO™ and REVex™, incorporates highly engineered microfluidic technology that surpasses the constraints of ex vivo and in vitro traditional methods, owing to its three distinctive attributes.

Mimicking blood flow. ReleGO™ stands out with its unparalleled capability to mimic the function of the blood flow, enabling the creation of highly realistic in vivo-like environments for 4D in vitro and ex vivo study of active ingredients and product formulations. This adds a new dimension to your testing, allowing the examination of the mechanistic action resulting from the interaction between the chemical compounds and the skin, which was previously unattainable in 3D in vitro platforms.

Maintaining tissues & test samples at human body temperature. The REVex™ microfluidic chips, housing 3D tissue cultures and test samples, are securely placed on the heating pads of the ReleGO™, which are calibrated to maintain the medium flowing under the tissue culture at 37°C. This effectively emulates the physiological temperature of the human body throughout the testing period. The heating function can be switched off if you intend to run the study at room temperature.

No more late nights. The ReleGO™ & REVex™ platform eliminates the need for manual sampling. Its fully automated fractions collection enables convenience and time-accuracy in collecting samples of the outflow medium for post-processing analysis. Through its touch screen interface, it offers users a friendly and intuitive experience. Simply follow the step-by-step instructions on the menu to select your desired experiment duration, time intervals, flow rate, and temperature settings.
